WOUND CARE I KRUUSE Vet-Plast Recommended use for KRUUSE Vet-Plast bandages n Uniform and controlled support of fractures, joint swelling, sprains, distortions and tissue lesions n Fixating dressings n Excellent in compression therapy and to reduce edema n Polster underneath compression bandages or cast is recommended Instructions for use Application It is recommended to use a polster bandage underneath the KRUUSE Vet-Plast to protect skin and prominent parts of the body; otherwise the compression will be very high in these parts and can create damage. Apply on dry and clean skin. Fixate the end of the bandage and apply evenly over a larger area of the injured body part rolling the bandage around the leg according to the level of compression the area needs. Take care in this process, it is very easy to stretch the bandage and create a larger compression than intended. When application is done, cut the bandage. Use KRUUSE Vet-Plast as tertiary bandage on top of primary/secondary dressing. Primary dressing suggestions n KRUUSE Hydro Gel n KRUUSE Manuka Honey Secondary dressing suggestion n KRUUSE Foam Dressing Can also be used in combination with KRUUSE Vet-Flex Removal Cut gently with a bandage scissor; be careful not to cut into the skin. Do not use If patient or user is allergic to latex Be aware of compression during application, if the bandage is applied with too much tension or with too many layers over a small part of the body.
